My darling big horse is seeking a new home.
He has been Supreme Cleveland Exhibit at the AWHA show both years he attended.
Champion Prelim HOY at Bowral Dressage. Winning plenty of Novice dressage and getting seconds in his Elementary’s so far.
He does have a few “special” foibles but generally if anything he can be quite sluggy. He has a lovely canter which inspires confidence in nervous riders.
Normally a horse of his size, temperament and calibre would be around $15,000 - however x-rays show that he has a bone spur on his near pastern.
He is fine and sound, however I have been told that at times this may affect his ongoing higher level competition dressage career.
For this reason someone who wants a big, quiet, cheap to run, lovely horse - and not aim for high level dressage would be ideal for him. The vet says that he will be fine for walk trot and canter - prelim, showing etc and on trail rides.
Well managed he might be like Mel from Fortissimo Freestyles horse who was diagnosed with a bone spur six years ago and continues to compete.
